During the Salone del Mobile 2025 in Milan, Olav Home was inspired by international design trends such as organic shapes, tactile materials and warm color palettes. These insights form the basis for our upcoming collection: stylish, durable and exceptionally personalized.

The 63rd edition of the Salone del Mobile in Milan exceeded all expectations with 361,417 visitors from 188 countries, an increase of almost 100,000 compared to 2023. The fair thus confirms its status as the global meeting place for the design and furniture industry.

Key figures:

  • 361,417 visitors (up from 307,418 in 2023)
  • More than 1,950 exhibitors, 30% of whom are from abroad
  • 550 young designers from 37 countries participated in SaloneSatellite
  • 5,552 journalists from 89 countries

The fair was praised for its new format, focus on experience and innovative approach. According to President Maria Porro, this edition proves that the Salone is not only a trade fair, but also a cultural platform where ideas and visions come together.

Design that connects people and space

In April, the Olav Home team traveled to Milan for the Salone del Mobile 2025, the world's most influential international furniture fair. From April 8 to 13, the city was once again dominated by creativity, innovation and the future of living.

The fair was a vibrant meeting place where design professionals from around the world came together. This year was all about sustainability, sensory design and connection between people and interiors, themes that fit seamlessly with our vision of exceptional personalized living.

A scholarship that redefines the standard

The 63rd edition of Salone del Mobile showcased an impressive palette of styles, shapes and materials. From iconic brands to young designers, each pavilion breathed craftsmanship, innovation and a search for harmony.

Top design trends from Salone del Mobile 2025

Sculptural lighting
Lighting as an art object: unique shapes, natural materials and a play of shadow and light add character to any space.

Organic shapes and curves
Furnishings with soft lines and rounded shapes continue to go strong. They create a sense of comfort and visual tranquility. Like that of Olav's Organic Hocker.

Tactile materials
Fabrics such as bouclé, velvet and natural fibers took center stage. Texture plays an important role in evoking emotion and atmosphere.

Earth tones and warm color palettes
Think sand, terracotta, deep browns and soft grays, colors that exude harmony and security.

Multifunctional design
Smart furniture solutions that adapt to changing living needs. Think modular seating or tables with hidden functions.

George

The George sofa has a beautiful design. With its many features, this flexible model offers more than just seating comfort.

Craft and sustainability
A clear focus on craftsmanship, local production and sustainable choices. Materials are deliberately chosen based on ecological impact as well as aesthetic values.
